Arcane Antics (Continuing)

System: Kids On Brooms
GM: Tom Tudor
Description: Welcome to your 5th year at the Ancient Academy of Mama Pacha located in Darkest Peru. Its an important year for your studies, so we must encourage you to focus on your studies, despite any strange and confounding conspiracies that may or may not be happening around you.

Arcane Antics is a campaign set in a fantastical wizarding world of the players’ creation. It utilizes the Kids on Brooms System, a rules lite system where the players make the world and have a strong control on the narrative. This is a continuation of a game I ran last semester however new players should be able to integrate themselves without much issue.

There will not be too high stakes in this campaign. No one is the chosen one, saving the world. Its not about the destination, but the story on how you all get there. This will be laid back roleplay, with some hopefully fun bits of combat scattered throughout.

Lines and Veils and The T Card will be used as safety measures

Your first mission, provide relief, equipment and repair to an aid camp on the densely forested Bolivia-Paraguay border, currently shrouded in smoke and gunfire due to the Chaco War. Usually Caduceus operatives work to help people, at least that’s what you’ve read in the papers, but this job pitch felt different…

You will all be taking on the roles of Caduceus operatives who were hired or took up the position for a variety of reasons and come from all walks of life. Doctors, Armed guards, Scientists, Film stars and any other adventurous types are welcome. As long as you have a willingness to help people you are welcome at Caduceus. Unknown to the public eye, however, Caduceus defends humanity from ancient mythos threats and seeks out individuals who they think could help them on their mission. (We will create characters at the pitches, literally no experience in Call of Cthulhu or Pulp Cthulhu required, I’ll explain everything at session 0)

The campaign takes place just before the end of Prohibition and during the height of the great depression and is a high pulp, high action, horror, investigative and globe trotting adventure which will take the PCs through the Volcanic mountains of Iceland, the concrete jungle of NYC and ancient lost lands in the Atlantic as they uncover a conspiracy that has been millions of years in the making
