You’ll Never Make it to Hollywood
System: Monster of The Week
GM: Morgan Kane
Description: Hollywood, Los Angeles. Home of the silver screen. Abbotoir of hopes and dreams. *Also*, little-known fact; *possibly* built over the thrice-accursed crucible of a hell dimension. How *else* are they supposed to get the practical effects to look so good?
You are a group of industry hopefuls, handlers, and has-beens, all taking on a second job just until you can get that *other thing* you’re working on off the ground, y’know? It’s a work in progress. And in the meantime, The Agency is offering you some *really* good money, even if working in D&D (that’s Decommissioning & Disposal, obvs) can get a little messy.
Format: Roll20 for dice rolls/character sheets if people want it.
Spaces: 4
Age Rating: 15
Content Advisories: Monster-hunting (and the requisite violence therein), injury detail, risk of PC death, horror themes, strong language, moderate peril. Potential discussion of industry abuse of varying shades, though a lot of content will be subject to player lines + veils.
Day / Time Running: Wednesdays, 18:00-22:00 (flexible)
The Rise of Mordor
System: The One Ring (1st Edition)
GM: Joe McLaughlin
Description: “Across Southern Middle Earth a terrible storm is brewing. The Steward of Gondor, Turgon, is dying while enemies within and without circle like vultures. The proud men of Harad and Umbar prepare to take up their arms and right the ancient wrongs done to them by Gondor. All the while strange rumours filter out of the empty wastes of Mordor. Ancient strongholds are being rebuilt, dark riders have been seen on the roads and orcs are launching raids on a scale not seen for generations. The time has come for heroes to put aside their divisions and lead the folk of the South against the Shadow that threatens to consume them all…”
An adventure set in Southern Gondor and Harad about seventy years before the time of the Lord of the Rings. Can your PC’s do what no cannon character did and unite the peoples of the South against the Dark Lord? Combat will happen but a lot of the game will explore Tolkienesque themes of exploration, companionship and resisting the darkness which eats at your PC’s souls. Instead of Hobbits, Rangers and Dwarves play as Dark Elven Outcasts, Corsairs of Umbar and Dwarves. Some knowledge of the Middle Earth setting is helpful but non-essential.
Format: Discord, Video Optional
Spaces: 5
Age Rating: 12
Content Advisories: Mild Violence, Fantasy Racism, Heatstroke and Severe weather, Spiders, Wolves.
Day / Time Running: Sundays, 13:00-17:00
Gangs of the Under-Hive
System: Blades in the Dark
GM: Joe McLaughlin
Description: The Hive-Cities of Necromunda are among the worst places in the Imperium. From the tops of the highest mountains to the depths of the oceans, the wealth of Necromunda has been extracted over millennia of human settlement. The plains of the world have disappeared under huge urban developments, man-made mountains dubbed “Hives”. Life in these arcologies is hard, monotonous and short. You may as well join one of the many gangs which fight over the scraps passed down by the Noble Houses of the Spires far above. You’ll probably never make it rich, leave the subterranean depths behind and feel the sun shining on your skin, but at least you’ll die trying.
A game set in the Warhammer 40k setting about playing a crew of daring scoundrels seeking their fortunes in the lowest depths of an immense Science-Fiction Arcology. There are heists, chases, occult mysteries, dangerous bargains, bloody skirmishes, and, above all, riches to be had — if you’re bold enough to seize them. No knowledge of the wider setting is necessary at all (PC’s knowledge will be super limited as well). The tone is that of a dark (albeit somewhat comic) Science-Fantasy mixture of Judge Dredd, Akira, Dune, Cyberpunk 2022 and Snowpiercer.
Format: Discord, Video optional
Spaces: 5
Age Rating: 18
Content Advisories: Bugs (including Spiders), Fantasy Racism, Claustrophobia, Police/Police aggression, Refences to Starvation and thirst, Potentially offscreen Torture, Demons, No-Explicit depiction but refences to sex and sex work, Fire and threat of burning, Refences to cannibalism, Oppressive Fictional Religion, Extreme Wealth Inequality, Drug and alcohol use, Blood-sports, General criminal acts such as theft, sabotage ect preformed by PC’s, Strong refences to Pollution and Ecological collapse. No Homophobia, Enbyphobia, acephobia or transphobia present in setting.

The Three Fs (Working Title)
System: New system being playtested
GM: Stephen McMorland
Description: This is something a bit different, I’ve come up with an idea for a new game engine and I want to test it out with a few players, don’t expect a normal game, genre and setting tbd at Session Zero
Format: Voice/Video Discord or , more likely, Skype if that is OK
Spaces: 5
Age Rating: 18
Content Advisories: To be decided, this is a playtest, so content has yet to be confirmed
Day / Time Running: Sundays, 13:00-17:00
Sunset of Glass
System: Beam Saber
GM: Manuel
Description: Five years ago, the moon cracked and fell. With its shard, came Femto, a fascinating source of energy toxic to most forms of life that kickstarted a technological revolution, allowing for the production of highly advanced mechanized vehicles. But this strange resource is more than meets the eye, as some rare humans, called outers, who become exposed to it become immune, and develop strange, maybe even supernatural powers. And the AIs that once ran so much of daily life around the site of the crash have gone rogue.
Despite its possible dangers and the establishment of the Oval Link to prevent its spread, the discovery of this new resource has caused the once uneasy peace between the five superpowers of humanity to become more strained than ever, and war may be on the horizon. As outers, your services in exploring and reclaiming the Oval Link are invaluable, and you find yourselves at a turning point in history with the very rare chance to affect the outcome. Who will you ally with? Will you try to prevent this war, or will you accept the inevitability of this Sunset of Glass?
Format: Roll20 with Voice over discord (video optional)
Spaces: 6
Age Rating: 15
Content Advisories: Themes of war and death
Day / Time Running: Saturday / Sunday, 15:00-19:00
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
System: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
GM: Craig Oxbrow
Description: Mostly lighthearted, heroic action, modern urban fantasy. You don’t need to know the TV series inside and out but knowing the general tone probably helps. The system is pretty straightforward, with a small narrative control element.
Format: Discord video channel, and text channels: text, handouts
Spaces: 6
Age Rating: 12
Content Advisories: fantasy violence, occult, monsters
Day / Time Running: Sundays, 18:30-22:00 (flexible)
Vaesen
System: Vaesen Year Zero Engine
GM: Jamie Wheeler
Description:In dark forests and forlorn mountains, by black lakes and hidden groves. At your doorstep. In the shadows, something stirs. Strange beings. Twisted creatures, lurking at the edge of vision. Watching. Waiting. Unseen by most, but not by you. You see them for what they really are. Vaesen.
Welcome to the Mythic North – northern Europe of the nineteenth century, but not as we know it today. A land where the myths are real. A cold reach covered by vast forests, its few cities lonely beacons of industry and enlightenment – a new civilization dawning. But in the countryside, the old ways still hold sway. There, people know what lurks in the dark. They know to fear it.
Unlike most people you can see vaesen. You have found others like yourself, who have the sight, and you have found that years ago there was a society of people just like you. They chose to investigate the mysteries of the vaesen and to try and protect humanity from them. And you have chosen to try and restore this society.
Format: voice & video (discord), foundry
Spaces: 5
Age Rating: 15
Content Advisories: Fairytales, folk horror, gothic horror, mysteries and adventure. Maybe some going mad and dying horribly.
Day / Time Running: Wednesday, 18:00-22:00
The Osmanthus Inquiry
System: Homebrew
GM: YY Hutchinson
Description: Since the discovery of Osmanthus Gold, the fogs and clouds of the mortal world have turned thicker every year. A grey veil hangs over the world, bitter and choking, pressing down on the people below like a vengeful spirit crouches upon the chest of a sinner.
But this is nothing to complain about. The state of Great Liang has never been so prosperous. The mysterious ore has brought gold and silver flowing through the capital city of Jinping like water, bestowing an era of peace and new inventions upon the land. And, the year of the Great Selection bodes an even greater fortune – the state sect, Shrouded Heaven, will be selecting disciples from the noble houses, to train their bodies and spirits and attain immortality. You have made it to the candidate list.
Except… there have been killings in the city lately. Disaster after disaster. Evil cultivators are afoot, there are secrets in the palace, and the cultivation sect is a lotus with its roots wedged deep in the mud. Are you brave enough to solve the mystery, and strong enough to stand the truth? (Xianxia-inspired campaign heavily based on Tai Sui/Sha Po Lang by Priest. No previous knowledge of the books or genre necessary.)
Format: Discord (video not required)
Spaces: 5
Age Rating: 18
Content Advisories: Themes of violence, war, death, horror (including ghosts and demons), extreme class inequality and damage to the environment. Potential references to off-screen torture, mistreatment of fantasy animals, sex work (non-explicit), fire/immolation, drug and alcohol use, and famine. Moderate injury detail where relevant, can be adjusted to players’ comfort.
