All Crim’s Night by Johnny Chiodini & E. E. Howell

System: Dungeons & Dragons 5E
GM: Emily Howell
Description: Every year Duke Abeyo of Red Castle tests his guards by hosting All Crim’s Night, a night where he invites every thief and criminal gang in Red Castle to try to invade his castle, get past the Crimson Guard, and reach his treasury vault. The first team to reach the vault is rewarded with a handshake from the Duke and five minutes to take whatever they can carry. On All Crim’s Night, mayhem, thievery, and betrayal is allowed and encouraged.

A not-too-serious Level 6 one-shot for up to 8 players with prior DnD experience. Players will be split into teams of 2+ players controlling a party of 4 pre-made characters, all competing to reach the Duke’s Vault and win All Crim’s Night. Alternatively, one to two players can opt to control a squad of guards trying to stop the criminals. This adventure will come with pre-made character sheets for players to choose from, as well as 10-15 minutes at the start of the session to make changes to characters and name their characters & teams.

Player character death and PvP possible.

The concept of All Crim’s Night is based on the adventure “Plunder and Siege” by Johnny Chiodini, DM of The Oxventurer’s Guild DnD campaign which can be found on the “Oxventure” channel of Youtube.

This is a viking horror story. Characters are treasure hunters either too greedy or foolish to heed other’s warning as they venture into frozen forests cloaked in myth. Most characters will die by the end of the game.

It’s now 1973. The Sydney Opera House has just opened, President Nixon has just ordered a Ceasefire for American troops in Vietnam, and You and a team of other BPRD operatives have been sent to examine an outbreak of unusual disease in rural Wales – but you’re beginning to think that this may not be a routine outing. After all, in your experience – most mysteries of the Occult haven’t been able to outsmart bullets.

The Hunt for Haldraxis

System: Dungeons and Dragons 5e
GM: Jesse
Description: A heroic high fantasy 5th Edition D&D game whose level of diehard seriousness vs lighthearted comedy I will happily adjust to suit the group’s interest and comfort level (though I typically like my games to have a blend of comedy and tragedy). Experience with either 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons or RPGs as a whole is encouraged but by no means required.

The Pitch: Not but yesterday, a red dragon flew from the mountains and attacked the city of Bygate in the night. Orange flame painted the south side of the city, resulting in the burning of three fields and two homes. Four people were killed, and eleven were gravely injured. The dragon then bellowed his demands to the city from the top of the castle: “In four days, leave me all your gold and jewels in the temple ruins in the mountain, and your city will be safe from the wrath of I, Haldraxis.” He then flew back into the mountains to await his payment. The High Lord, unwilling to bargain with a dragon, knows that there are heroes in his midst who could save Bygate from destruction. You will take up the roles of these heroes, travelling to fight the dragon and either kill him, or scare him off for good.

The Kamakura Tale – Kamakura Monogatari

System: Thirsty Sword Lesbians (TSL)
GM: Miklas Fahrenwaldt
Description: Rumours of treason have upset the imperial court, one of the realm’s most powerful lords is plotting against the empress herself! Or is she? You, a group of ronin (samurai not associated with any of the powerful clans of Japan), are tasked to investigate. Intrigue and trickery, love and jealousy, honour and deceit are all abound in this aggressively queer parody of medieval Japan and it will be up to you to unravel the thread of conspiracies, alliances and rivalries to fulfil your mission (if you choose to do so!). Thirsty Sword Lesbians is a system focused on relationships between characters and players, including (perhaps unsurprisingly) lots of potential for lesbian romance. The game has a light-hearted tone and lots of potential for creative chaos, all depending on how you play. It is a very roleplay heavy system and no or very little combat is planned.

Monstrous Mushroom Mayhem!

Fearing for their safety, the villagers have tasked you with investigating the abode of these mouldy monsters. What secrets will you uncover within this mycelium mound? And might there be any treasure inside?

The Sexy Battle Wizards save a wedding?!

System: Sexy Battle Wizards
GM: Andrew Arstall
Description: You are a member of the esteemed and brilliant Sexy Battle Wizard brigade, heroes of the world and pioneers of justice! The police hate you but that’s okay, we all are entitled to our opinions. You have been summoned because you hear word that a local wedding is being ruined by local delinquints and it is the job of you and your party to restore order and happiness to the local wedding-goers, by any means necessary, sexily, battle-y or wizard-y.

The general tone of this one-shot will be very goofy, with a main focus on over the top characters doing what they do best, and a special feature of me doing animal noises because i want to. As for content warnings, there are no plans for anything that may cause players distress any discomfort, so it is suitable for all! It is also a very simple system, relying heavily on D6 only, so it is suitable for all types of players, new and old.

You emerge, STEAMING and GLORIOUS, into the forecourt of a PETROL STATION. It is the night before the ceremony and, as is TRADITION, you must secure tribute for your queen from the LANDS OF MAN. You have until dawn to claim something worthy. MAKE HASTE!

This is a simple one page RPG, ideal for new or old players. It will be very comedic in tone if that wasn’t already obvious.

Utter and Absolute Chaos II

System: Everyone is John
GM: Jamie Kemp
Description: Everyone is John is a ridiculous system in which every player bets for control of the titular character, John. Of course, this means we need an equally ridiculous setting…but what if we went somewhere much more serious?

Captain’s Log, Stardate 25/07/2409 Project Hubris has gone TERRIBLY wrong! The alien eggs we captured have hatched, the ship’s AI is going insane, and someone’s poisoned the ship’s water supply! Well, that, and the cafeteria ran out of dessert before I got my portion today…but more importantly, it’s all going wrong! I’ve sealed off the wings of the ship in an attempt to control the problem, but I’m not sure it’s working. The Chief Scientist and Gunnery Major are both missing, perhaps dead, and I’m locked in the bridge trying to point us away from this suspiciously close black hole. Anyway, this is Captain Icarus, signing off, and gravely hoping that…oh, oh god, NO!
